Write an argument for or against high-stakes achievement tests for ELLs.  Support your claim based on the article and/or your experience.

Discussion

• Post a message in the Week 3 discussion forum describing some considerations educators should take into account regarding the impact of cultural and linguistic factors on the assessment of ELLs. Explain how you can use these insights to improve assessment practices in your classroom for ELLs.
