Assignment Uploads
To complete the assignment uploads, you must have the latest version of Adobe Reader.
- All participants must abide by the Code of Online Professional Conduct. This document is a writable PDF that you will be able to complete by typing directly into the form. You must have the latest version of Adobe Reader to complete the form. Read the code and check that you agree to abide by the guidelines in the code. Save the file as last name_first initial_code.pdf. Directions for uploading an assignment can be found in the Start Here section of the course. Upload the saved file in the Week 1 Code of Online Professional Conduct section of Assignments. Type in the Comments section: "I agree to abide by the guidelines."
- Access the META Consent Decree and scroll to the Consent Decree sections toward the middle of the page. Choose ONE of the six areas to read in its entirety by clicking on the title. Based on what you read, in a word-processed document, analyze your school’s ESOL program procedures pertaining to that area of the META Consent Decree. List some things that you believe your school is doing successfully, and some areas of improvement. Upload the saved file in the Week 1.2 META Consent Decree section of Assignment Upload. Directions for uploading an assignment can be found in the Assignment Upload section of the Left Navigation Bar.

In the Discussion Area, the Read this First! section contains a link to the Criteria and Samples document. It is important that you read this information as it contains criteria, tips and samples to help you create quality discussion postings.
1.1 About Me
- Post a message in the Week 1.1 About Me discussion forum introducing yourself.
- Post a follow-up message in response to a Week 1.1 original posting made by one of your colleagues.
Final Project
A final project is required in this course. The final project is in a writable PDF format that you will be able to complete by typing directly into the form. Download this form to your desktop and use it to complete your final project. The final project will be submitted electronically in Week 8. You do not have to wait to finish the content to begin the project.
