• JDL will perform a site survey at no charge

• JDL will deliver and  configure equipment

• If site already has Airespace wireless network switches, JDL will configure new Airspace access points to the existing wireless enterprise

• If site does not yet have Airespace wireless network switches JDL will configure it as a standalone
• •All future purchases of wireless network equipment will be configured to the single District network name and password
• Going forward, to preserve the integrity of the District network enterprise, sites must purchase ETS standard wireless network equipment
• Cart purchases- 1 access point per 15 laptops recommended

Steps to Purchase Wireless Network Equipment:

1.  Download a communications work order.

2.  In the comments section annotate the requirement to add to the existing wireless network infrastructure in specific locations.  If an entire site overlay is desired then state entire site overlay.

3.  Fax the request to the telephone listed on the work order.

4.  ETS will work with JDL to meet your specific wireless needs and to ensure you receive the most effective solution.  Quality will provide a quote to run network wiring to desired infrastructure depending on your needs.

5.  A cost quote will be provided at no charge to the the requester for further evaluation. 

6. A REC will be provided to the site for expeditious processing and procurement. 

Steps to Purchase Floating Access Points:

1.  If a site feels the need to purchase access points for use on carts or to establish an immediate wireless hotspot, complete a communications work order (via CAB) requesting the number of  Access Points needed and how you will use them.

2. ETS will provide you a quote for the items requested.
