Spanish

Spanish for high school credit course descriptions


Spanish 1

The student will learn basic skills in order to express feelings, ideas, and opinions in Spanish through oral, reading, and writing activities based on familiar themes.
The course also provides the opportunity to learn about the daily lives and culture of people from various Spanish-speaking countries.


Spanish 2

The student will be able to continue to expand and engage in a communicative environment focused on proficiency – based approach which will enable the student to use the target language (Spanish) in real-life situations.
This course also provides the opportunity to learn and understand the social patterns of the people from various speaking countries.


One high school credit per course will be given based on successful completion. Grades will also count towards student’s GPA.
