Ernie Lozano, Assistant Principal at Mc Nab Elementary School in Pompano Beach, was honored as a finalist for the 2011-12 Outstanding Assistant Principal by the Florida Department of Education. The recognition took place during the annual Commissioner’s Summit for Principals in Tallahassee which brought together Florida’s principal and assistant principal district winners to honor their accomplishments and discus educational issues of great importance to the state. Mr. Lozano is Broward County Public Schools 2011 Assistant Principal of the Year.
As a finalist for the 2011-12 Outstanding Principal Achievement Award, Mr. Lozano received a $1,000 cash award and $300 for his school. He was also presented with a certificate signifying his extraordinary dedication to his school and community. Congratulations for a job well done.
