Parents

Westglades appreciates all our parent volunteers. Here is the information to become a volunteer in Broward County Schools.

Note from our Youth Liason Officer
All external school doors are locked immediately after the 9:10a bell. If arriving late to school, you must walk through the courtyard entrance only.

All Broward County Schools follow security measures set forth in the
Jessica Lunsford Act.

Please do not call the main or grade level offices for homework requests. Visit our Teacher Websites Page. Many teachers list homework on their websites.

If you drop off a lunch for your child, it will be placed on a table in the cafeteria. However, if you drop off anything else such as projects, clothing, etc., the students classes cannot be interupted for notification. However, we
will be happy to keep them in the grade level offices for them to pick up.

Unexcused absences cannot be changed after two school days following
the absence
Parents, please look at pinnacle often.

The official radio station for
Broward School District information is
WKPX 88.5 FM
and
Broward Schools will also broadcast
