Staff are provided data on MTSS fidelity and student outcomes

The infrastructure exists to support family and community engagement

Educators actively engage families in MTSS

Why is it occuring?

We would like to increase parent involvement with the RtI process. Parents need to be aware of interventions, progress of the student towards goals, and what they can do to support the process.

What are we going to do about it?

Data that teachers collect will be shared with parents through conferences, email, phone calls, or other written means. Parent input into the causes and strategies will be taken into account by the RtI team when crafting a plan. Parents are invited to the RtI meeting for their child to allow for this colaboration.

Action Plan

Encourage teachers to reach out to parents.
Share RtI data.
Invite parents to RtI meetings.
Seek their input and support to assist with interventions.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Teachers document parent communication.

Goal Average
For 2017 - 2018
2.5
What elements will be addressed?

Staff understand and have access to data sources

Policies and procedures for decision-making are established

Effective data tools are used appropriately and independently by staff

Data sources are used to evaluate the fidelity and impact

Available resources are allocated effectively

Data sources are monitored for consistency and accuracy

Why is it occuring?

Staff should feel more comfortable creating graps to assist in visualizing the data that they collect. This is a challenge for some teachers and it can slow the process.

What are we going to do about it?

RtI team will work with teachers individually to use various graphing tools to analyze student progress.

Action Plan

RtI coordinator will have frequent meetings with teachers to discuss the RtI process, BASIS, intervention strategies, and how to document progress through accurate graphs.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Teacher graphs will have accurate content and teachers will be more confident in creating graphs using digital tools.
