Mission:
To provide high-quality education that ensures that young men and women are ready for lifelong success, no matter which door they take first: college, work, or career.
|
Vision:
We want high schools in which:
- Every student has an adult advocate
who acts as a mentor and advisor to recognize and foster the
growth of the individual's own talents and aspirations.
- All students would be authentically engaged by implementing
thematic, integrated, and collaborative strategies through Standards-Based
Instruction.
- Student mastery would be monitored by
multiple forms of assessment as created to support the varied
learning styles of individual students.
- Scheduling would be flexible to meet
the needs of all stakeholders in order to support the purposes
and goals of the Smaller Learning Communities within schools,
ensuring mastery learning for all students.
- The community is a rich resource, providing
relevant experiences for students to become engaged in quality,
educational opportunities emphasizing mastery of academic content
through project-based learning, inquiry-based teaching methods,
and workforce skills.
