DISCUSSION	Introduce yourself in the Module 1.1 discussion forum. Where do you work? What are your interests and hobbies outside of school? What behaviors do you currently demonstrate that relate to the course's learning goal? What skills do you hope to gain from participation in this course? Respond to at least one other participant's original posting. In the Module 1.2 discussion forum, respond to the following question: Since the Florida Standards are new to all Florida schools, how do you ensure that teachers, students, and parents know these standards and how do you determine that these standards are being incorporated in the classroom? Respond to at least two other participant's original postings.
ASSIGNMENT UPLOAD	All participants must abide by the Code of Online Professional Conduct. This document is a writable PDF that you will be able to complete by typing directly into the form. Read the code, check that you agree to abide by the code, and type your name in the Name field. Save the file as last name_first initial_code.pdf. Directions for uploading an assignment can be found in the Start Here section of the course. Upload the saved file in the Week 1 Code of Online Professional Conduct section of Assignments. Type in the Comments section: "I agree to abide by the guidelines." Considering your school’s current assessment data, demographic data, teacher, student, and parent perceptions, and the school/classroom processes, create a plan to, increase student achievement in Reading or Math. Analyze your school improvement plan and in a word processed document, show development strategies to ensure that there is a climate of high expectations for all students. Save the file as last name_first initial_plan. Upload the saved file in the Module 1.2: PLAN section of Assignments.
