What elements will be addressed?

Resources to support MTSS implementation are identified and allocated

Why is it occuring?

When it comes to our math instruction, we do not have a adequate materials for tier 2 and tier 3 instruction. This causes students who are in the RtI process to not be able to have a deeper understanding on the skill which causes them to stay in the process longer.

What are we going to do about it?

As a leadership team we have been in contact with the math department regarding tier 2 and tier 3 intervention programs separate from the supplemental materials of Go Math

Action Plan

Utilize materials from title 1 that are for math instruction
provide teachers with diverse resources separate from Go Math to provide differentiated instruction for tier 2 & tier 3 instruction.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

RtI records
student data based on Basis
reflex math data
classroom observations

provide teachers with training to understand tier 3 instruction

Action Plan

Work with math department on finding tier 3 based instruction materials
work with both ESE teachers and gen. Ed teachers on providing rich tier 3 instruction
