The Public Information Office is responsible for the majority of the District's internal and external communications and is the liaison between the school district and the news media.

From media releases to the District's website to events and press conferences, the Public Information Office continually looks for ways to engage the community, while sharing the incredible achievements of Broward County Public Schools.

Directs, designs and innovates programming and service delivery for the Public Information Office.

Responsible for infusing a strategic framework into the operations of the Public Information Office.
Dr. Carolyn Stewart - Coordinator, Community Engagement
Develops and implements District initiatives that connect and engage our internal and external stakeholders.
Charles Webster - Coordinator, Governmental Affairs
Establishes and maintains strong relationships with municipalities and governmental agencies.
Cathleen Brennan - Specialist, Public Affairs and Community Relations
Develops messaging campaigns and informational material to promote BCPS.  Cultivates and nurtures positive relationships with the media in support of District initiatives and student success.

Serves as the webmaster for the District’s main website, browardschools.com.
