The swimming and diving season came to an end with a splash,
and marked the start of a new winning tradition: the
Bobcats girls’ team placed 12th, and the
boys’ team placed 22nd of 83 teams, which
competed in the 2A Florida State Championships at
the Aquatic YMCA Center in Orlando, FL this past
Saturday, with several outstanding personal and team
results, including two All Americans (Oliver and
Sell) and a silver medal for Tyler Sell!!!
Please congratulate the team and the individuals who
represented our school during the season and at the
State Championships. We began the season with a
pouncing start and ended even stronger with
dauntless swims in Orlando. The competition was
fierce and our Aquatic Bobcats gave it their best,
as reflected in the results of our finalists:

Our swimmers and divers competed at the Broward
County Athletic Association (BCAA) Championships!
The boys placed 9th and the girls placed
4th out of 23 schools!!!!
Our team captain, Tyler Sell, set a new BCAA record
in the500 yard free style with a time of 4:33.93
(this is a 3 second improvement from his old record,
which he set at last years championships!)
