Eric Gudger
is the new Head
Football Coach -
Played at Penn
State, was a
Graduate
Assistant at
West Virginia,
and an assistant
position coach
at Clemson and
Temple. He has
strong ties to
the community
here in Pembroke
Pines.
Corey Sarubbi
the new Girls
Volleyball Coach
- Corey is a
well respected
coach in Broward
County having
coached at Coral
Springs and
Sagemont. He is
also a Director
with Wildfire
Club program.
Shannon
Bucker -
Cofounder of
United Rock
Nation. Over 14
years experience
as a cheerleadig
coach, who has
won numerous
championships at
all levels.
West Broward, once again, is loaded with county All-Stars for the Spring seasons.
Flag Football - The game was played on May 8th - Jessica Sammarco and Kristen Artamendi represented West Broward on the South Team.
Softball - The game will be played May 14th at Cooper City, game time is 7PM. West Broward will be represented by Emily Obier and Jackie Gonzalez
Boys Volleyball - The game will be played at Monarch on May 16th at 7PM. Harrison Albert and Michael Calderon will be on the South team - Plus Coach Cameron is also an All-Star, coaching the South Team!
Baseball - The game is at Nova High School on May 22nd at 7PM. Danny Pardo and Aires Rivera will represent West Broward on the South Team.

Broward

Athletic
Association
(BCAA)
hosts
one
$1,000
athletic
scholarship
per
school
in
the
county
for
scholar
athletes.
Jennifer Siranni was one of seven students selected from the athletes in
the senior class at West Broward to attend the
banquet.
Girls Basketball
team won the FHSAA academic award for the highest
team GPA in the state!

Harrison Albert signed his
national letter of intent to
attend Lees-McRae College in
North Carolina.
Harrison has received a
scholarship to play
volleyball after being a
four year Varsity starter

and Sun Sentinel for two

The West Broward swim team medal
winners with team coach, Mrs. Filipelli, and
Principal Hall, following their success at the BCAA
Swim & Dive Championships. The Girls' team finished
4th and the Boys' team finished 9th, both out of 24
teams. Diver Corey Balko placed 3rd overall in Boys'
diving. The championships were held Saturday,
October 13, at the Central Park Pool in Plantation.
Key Players: WR Keenan Thompson, senior; DB Aaron O'Keefe, junior; OL Kevin Lazo, junior
Key Strengths: "Best O-Line since I've been here" Wagner said.
Areas of improvement: The Bobcats need more depth.
