Back-to-School Schedule Pick-ups

Tues, Aug 14th-SENIORS pick-up schedules 8-10 AM; JUNIORS pick-up schedules 12-2 PM.
Wed, Aug 15th-SOPHOMORES pick-up schedules 8-10 AM; FRESHMAN pick-up schedules 12-2 PM. 
*Schedules will ONLY be available during the 2 hour time window per grade level.  Students must clear ALL obligations from middle and / or high school before picking up their schedule. Please log onto Virtual Counselor to see if you have an outstanding obligation. Payments and/or returned items can be delivered to JPT all next week or during the schedule pick-up times. 

The Textbook Room is located on the 2nd floor of the main building, room 626.  It is the STUDENTS responsibility to pick up their textbooks.  I encourage students who DO NOT anticipate a schedule change to pick up their books after they receive their schedule on  August 14th and  15th.  The Textbook Room will be open these 2 days only prior to the start of the school year.  The Textbook Room will also be open during all lunches from 2:40 - 3:15 PM during the first two weeks of school.

Open House will be on Wed. Aug. 15th

Parents should be seated in their students 1st period class no later than 6:30 PM.

Seniors: Seniors may pick up a parking application during schedule distribution on Tues., Aug. 14th. Remember your application, proof of insurance, registration, drivers license and payment is due no later than the first day of school during your lunch period.

Student Achievement

This year JPT teachers are focused on utilizing the Cornell Note-taking method which provides a systematic format for condensing and organizing notes while requiring students to synthesize and apply learned knowledge.

The Broward County Recognition Program is for those teachers who teach a subject area not covered by the National Board program. It is an equally difficult and strenuous program. Our staff members are: Beth Goldman & Dawn Hall
