TYPICAL OR TROUBLED? TRAINING

In collaboration with the American Psychiatric Foundation, the Student Services Department will be offering the “Typical or Troubled? School Mental Health Program.”  This training program is available to all schools and it is expected to adequately prepare staff to identify early warning signs of mental health concerns. Training in appropriate referrals and referral sources will also be addressed. Each training session is approximately one hour long and can be offered at your school site.

To schedule a training at your school, or for further information on the “Typical or Troubled? School Mental Health Program,” please contact Dr. Laurel E. Thompson, Director, Student Services at 754 321-2490.
