The Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System is a network of nineteen regional centers and four specialized centers in Florida which provides support service to educators, parents, and other professionals who work with exceptional students.
The FDLRS/Media Center is located at 100 South Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301
The FDLRS Technology Solutions Lab is located at 2301 NW 26 Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311.
The Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System is funded through IDEA, Part B; Part B, Title II (Preschool); and State General Revenue Funds to provide services for Florida's exceptional student education programs.
The mission of the FDLRS Associate Center network is to support the implementation of the Bureau of Instructional Support and Community Services and local district initiatives. The initiatives include highest student achievement, high performance work force, personal safety, and partnerships. FDLRS assists in the enhancement of learner outcomes for students through provision of information, training and technical assistance to persons involved with students with exceptionalities. Collaboration among centers within the network and across functions to develop resources and products to support the initiative is essential.
