School boundary: students shall attend the school in the geographical boundary in which the parent(s) reside, unless other School Board policies apply. In accordance with School Board Policy 5.1, any parent who submits fraudulent documentation to register a student gives cause for such student to be withdrawn immediately and referred for enrollment in the appropriate boundaried school.

School Board Workshop III and
Superintendent’s Initial Boundary Recommendations

Participants: School Board, Superintendent, Area Superintendents, School Boundaries and District staff.
Attendance invitations will be sent to city mayors and commissioners two weeks prior to meetings.
Distribution: Workshop materials will be available on the School Boundaries Web site

Purpose:
The Superintendent will make an initial recommendation for schools in the school boundary process. Two scenarios will be generated for each school driven by District criteria to be in the school boundary process. For each community suggested boundary proposal, the Superintendent will make a recommendation. The community will have the opportunity to give input on these initial recommendations during Community Conferences held in December and January.
