Sprouting STEM Museum Magnet School

News and Updates

Let's show our STEM school spirit by participating in the spring sale of STEM logo polo and crew neck T-shirts. This fundraiser helps to support STEM enrichment activities such as in-house excursions, field trips to local museums, and club activities. Be sure to look for informational flyers and order forms that will be sent home (or available in our front office) to place your orders. Students can show their support by purchasing and wearing these STEM logo T-shirts as they are accepted as part of the school uniform dress code. The class with the most students wearing STEM logo polo or crew neck T-shirts during our next museum night on March 17th will receive special treats! Hope to see everyone there with their STEM shirts to show their school spirit and support of STEM learning!

Also, the application window for applying to our 2016 - 2017 Sprouting STEM Museum Magnet program has ended. Please keep in mind that transportation will ONLY be provided for applicants who live within the Plantation Elementary Transportation Zone (check www.BrowardSchoolsInnovativePrograms.com for eligibility). Please note that students currently enrolled at Plantation Elementary do not need to apply. They are automatically enrolled in the program.

If you would like a tour of our Sprouting STEM Museum Magnet School, or if you have any questions, please contact Mrs. DeRusha, our Magnet Coordinator, for more details. Also, you can visit our school website or follow us on twitter @petigers at any time to learn more about our school.
