What elements will be addressed?

Additional professional development is needed to help teachers become skilled and comfortable comfortable their data. Students are unfamiliar with their student data. The data is not known or shared to the content area teachers (science and social studies) which hinders teacher capability. Only math and English Language Arts teachers are more versed with student assessment data than other teachers.

What are we going to do about it?

Ongoing professional development that will on focus on literacy. Thursday data analysis meetings will include opportunities for teachers to log in to BASIS to ensure teachers are able to keep track of student performance.

Action Plan

Development of a student data tracking system to ensure students and faculty are aware of students' progress towards proficiency. Implement small group instruction towards learning gains accumulation and proficiency. Leadership will activitly supply and monitor these tools throughout the process of implementation. Members of the team will seek additional training in the areas of epertise to improve our teachers' implementation.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Coaches will monitor and conference with teachers in regards to students' progress on I-Ready and the completion of Common Formative/Summative Assessments. Use of PLC Care Cycle to ensure that students across all levels needs are being met. This will ensure that effective remediation and enrichment is taking place.
