What elements will be addressed?

A strategic plan for MTSS implementation is developed

Why is it occuring?

Multi-tiered systems of supports are multi-faceted interventions and are complex. Schedules and other school-related tasks make it challenging to meet with all stakeholders. Additionally, the needs of our students and population are changing.

What are we going to do about it?

The team will continue to coordinate schedules to ensure that the team is all actively involved in the meeting.  Additionally, the team will utilize and receive additional training to make sure that the appropriate school and district resources are being utilized for interventions, especially in Math.

Action Plan

1. Team will attend professional development in Math.
2. Every effort will be made to ensure that all members have received and understand the Math training to ensure that the proper interventions are being utilized. Additionally, in the area of Math specific skills of concern will be targeted.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

The team will self-assess and discuss progress throughout the year, particularly for students who are on RTI for Math. Teacher feedback during meetings will also be considered. The SAM report done in spring 2019 will be analyzed and will measure progress.
