School Name Lakeside ES (3591) School Year 2018 - 2019 Staff have consensus and engage in MTSS Implementation Staff has a difficult time implementing interventions and identifying appropriate interventions. Currently we are identifying the students who need intervention and the appropriate interventions. We are in the process of developing a plan of gradual release so that the classroom teachers are identifying their students and the appropriate intervention for each student. Meeting with grade levels to discuss student needs. Data chats with individual teachers to discuss student needs. Discussions on flexible grouping and the identification of student needs with ongoing assessments. We will monitor by observing the transition to full ownership of MTSS implementation in the 2019 - 2020 grade year by the classroom teachers. The learning gain data and the iObservation data is confirming that teachers need to develop strategies on how to differentiate Tier 1 instruction so that students are mastering concepts and less students need Tier 2 interventions. The curriculum coach and the resource teacher are providing specific support to teachers in various grade levels. Additionally, many teachers are being identified to attend training in Cadre 10 groups on various dates through Sept and Oct. Admin will complete informal walkthroughs to provide feedback on best practices. Individual conferences will occur if teachers need specific support. Teachers monitor iReady reports for growth.
