Professional development and coaching provided to staff

Professional development is needed to assist teachers in the infrastructure for implementation of the MTSS. Schedules were created before SAMs data was released. 

Build time for training and coaching within schedules for staff members. 

Include the infrastructure in the School Improvement Plan and the Professional Development Calendar. 

Silver Palms will monitor and measure our progress by reviewing teacher schedules and the professional development calendar for 18-19 school year.

Student progress specific to academic or behavior goals are monitored

At Silver Palms Elementary, we are experinecing a learning curve with teachers and BASIS.

Assign caseworkers for each grade level to assist teachers with recording Tier interventions. 

Update the RTI handbook for 18-19 school year, conduct grade-level teacher trainings, and hold additional MTSS training meetings. 

At Silver Palms, we monitor and measure our progress through RTI meetings and completed cases on BASIS.
