The leadership team facilitates PD on multi-tiered instruction and intervention

Why is it occuring?

The leadership team is not consistently providing initial and ongoing professional development on multi-tired instruction and intervention and regularly using data on student needs and fidelity of how evidenced based practice are implemented.

What are we going to do about it?

The leadership team will consistently provide initial and ongoing professional development on multi tiered instruction and intervention and regularly use data on student needs and fidelity of how evidence based practices are implemented.

Action Plan

The second week of each month will be dedicated to staff professional development based on data and teacher needs.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

  • Self Assessment of Multi Tiered System of Supports (SAM) domain average increase
  • Collect evidence to support planning for school based professional development
  • Records review in BASIS 3.0
  • Classroom Observation
  • Data Collection evaluations

DBPS for student outcomes occurs across content areas, grade levels, and tiers

Why is it occuring?

Data based problem solving does not occur across all content areas, grade levels, and tiers.

What are we going to do about it?

The school based leadership team, along with the teachers, will monitor and collect data across all content areas, grade levels, and tiers.

Action Plan

  • All grade level teams will meet weekly to discuss student dat in all content areas and tiers.
  • School based leadership team will meet bi-weekly to discuss student data in all content areas, grade levels, and tiers.
  • School based leadership team and teachers will hold ongoing meeting to discuss student data across all content areas grade levels, and tiers.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

  • Measure our success by Self-Assessment of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (SAM) domain average increase
  • Collection of our "Curriculum Talks" form where grade level data is collected
  • Records review in BASIS 3.0
  • Classroom Observations
  • Data collection and evaluation through leadership team "Curriculum Talks"
