What elements will be addressed?

The leadership team actively engages in ongoing professional development

Why is it occuring?

The leadership is usually dealing with improving teacher capacity and rarely get a chance to participate in professional learning.

What are we going to do about it?

The leadership team will be required to attend 2 professional trainings per year to increase knowledge.  Teachers will also be expected to take ownership of classroom and increase instructional practices.

Action Plan

*Meet and collaborate with teachers early in the year to provide resources needed
*Leadership sign-up for trainings in subject area to increase knowledg
*Leadership team come back to school and share best practices and what was learned with staff and teachers

How will we monitor and measure our success?

*Succes will be measure by the reduction of students being referred to RTI dule to quality Tier 1 instruction.
*An increase in the number of student proficience in Literacy
