Data are used to identify reasons why students are not meeting expectations

Why is it occuring?

There is improvement needed in communication across content areas to identify students who are not progressing in one/more subject areas. 
Data is needed to identify trends of students and areas of weakness(s).

What are we going to do about it?

Continue to foster collaberative expectations for teachers to monitor and evaluate student data through BASIS and Pinnacle.

Action Plan

During Leadership Days Department Heads will review their subject areas' overall student data to drill to individual student data in order to identify those students with risk factors. 

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Through Department Head/AP Data Chats and PLC minutes and discussions.

What elements will be addressed?

Tier 3 academic practices are based on students' needs, aligned with Tier 1 and Tier 2

Why is it occuring?

At this point, there is a lack of resources available for the mathematics teachers. Students are missing foundational mathematic skills. 

What are we going to do about it?

Evaluate school based mathematics resources and compare district availability to determine course of action.

Action Plan

Math teachers will provide individualized progress monitoring of students on regular basis. Students will become more aware of their progress and take ownership for their academic progress. 

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Through teacher/admin/guidance data chats to determine the student progress.
