What elements will be addressed?

The leadership team facilitates PD on multi-tiered instruction and intervention

Why is it occuring?

Lack of staff trainings for the MTSS process and for data based problem solving.  
Lack of personnel trained in specific intervention programs.  

What are we going to do about it?

*PD will be integrated into data chats, coaching sessions, grade level meetings, collaborative plannings and leadership team meetings. 
*MTSS team will reach out to district assigned Instructional Facilitator.
*Intervention materials will continue to be purchased and available at each grade level.  

Action Plan

*Weekly RTI meetings- utilizing Outlook calendar for communication purposes.
*Complete initial RTI training with all grades by 10/10/2018.  
*Weekly RTI/MTSS team meeting
* Continuous meetings with district Instructional Facilitator.  
*Quarterly RTI/MTSS support meeting for teachers.   

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Data sources are used to evaluate the fidelity and impact

Why is it occuring?

*Lack of unified tool for data collection.
*Lack of understanding on how to use the data.
*Time
*Lack of teacher use of provided intervention materials that support good data collection.  

What are we going to do about it?

* Administration will monitor teacher data collection.
* CPS team members will continue to support the teachers on how to use their data to guide instruction and meet their students' needs.  

Action Plan

* Continue the use of the Outlook calendar to identify upcoming student meetings which will be used by Administration to provide any support needed by the teacher. 
* Data collection trainings provided at team meetings by CPS team members. 

How will we monitor and measure our success?

* Teachers will provide accurate completed graphs representing student data.
* End of year self assessment of the MTSS/RTI process.
