What elements will be addressed?

Data are used to address performance across diverse group

Why is it occuring?

Instructional leaders and teachers are not effectively trained on how to adequately determine which subgroups need additional support. In additional, instructional leaders and teachers need to determine if the strategies that were implemented are effective by reviewing their data on a quarterly basis.

What are we going to do about it?

During pre planning week the instructional leaders and teachers were properly trained on identifying struggling students data within subgroups. Once they have identified students in need, the instructional leaders will provide training to staff members on how to effectively provide different strategies base on area of need.  These students will recieve strategies before, during and after school.

Action Plan

1. The leadership team will provide training during pre planning week on identifying the target groups.
2. Strategies will be developed during the first week of school in areas of need.
3. Reading and math coach will work with teachers on implementing strategies to subgroups.
3. Students will be monitored to determine if strategies are effective.and what areas need remediation.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

  • Measure our sucess by Self-Assessment of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (SAM) domain average increase
  • Collect evidence to support implementation. MTSS/RTL meeting agenda and professional learning sessions
  • Records review (BASIS 3.0)
  • Classroom obervations
