We are streamlining our data evaluation to ensure that we have data sources that provide us with the detailed information we need included performance across diverse groups. 1) Determine all of the various sources of data utilized by school staff that address all student groups. 1) Data chats Leadership Team and Teachers 2018-11-30 2019-06-04 Tier 2 behavior practices include common student needs, are linked to Tier 1 Teachers have been consistently focusing on academic interventions and are not as familiar with strategies on how to provide students with the necessary behavior supports they need to be successful. We are going to train teachers on various behavior interventions to utilize in the classroom and send staff to trainings to support their professional learning. 1) During our montly staff meetings, the leadership team and guidance counselor with provide training on a behavior intervention that can be utilized for Tier 2 within the classroom. 1) Review discipline referrals. Leadership Team 2018-12-22 2017-06-01 Data sources are used to evaluate the fidelity and impact Classroom teachers and support staff utilize too many different sources of data. It is difficult to keep track of all of it. 2) Those staff members that have not attended CHAMPS training will be shown where the modules are on the Diversity and Prevention Website.
3) The Social Emotional Learning Lab will be utilized to help teach students coping and management strategies to utilize within the classroom.
4) The Annual Guidance Plan will focus on providing individual support to teachers when a student does not respond to the Tier 1 Behavior Plan in the classroom.
5) Response to Intervention and the Collaborative Problem Solving Team will develop strategies and plans on an individual basis to support the teacher and student.
