Building the Capacity/Infrastructure for Implementation

Coaching is used to support MTSS implementation

Why is it occuring?

Teachers did not have enough understanding of the correct resources. 

What are we going to do about it?

We will now use our math and literacy coach to train and model for teachers. 

Action Plan

We will meet once a month to discuss the studsnts in RtI and discuss the resources being used with relevancy. 

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Collect student data and record review. We will measure our success by self-assessment of support (SAM) domain average increase.

The staff is unclear what happens after a TIER I referral is put in. 

What are we going to do about it?

We are going to have monthly MTSS RtI meeting to discuss progress and staff will be trained by District supporter and they will receive professional development as needed.

This is ocurring becasue we did not have a consistent academic TIER II and TIER III academic intervention.

We are going to use the coaches to model interventions and help collect data.

The expecttaions were not clarified to students.

We will have everything posted. Teachers will teach lesson on behavior rules and school-wide expectations.

Through our monthly MTSS/RTI meetings we will be able to communicate to teachers student data.

Meet monthly to discuss students in interventions and thosse students who are beginning to struggle.

We will monitor and measure success through their common formative assessments.
