What elements will be addressed?

Schedules provide adequate time to administer assessments

Why is it occuring?

Due to the length of BAS testing, teachers are delayed with putting into action necessary strategies for identified and potential RTI students.

What are we going to do about it?

Since BAS assesment is conducted on a one-on-one basis, support personnel and previously identified RTI case managers will assist with testing.

Action Plan

Early screening of potential RTI students will be conducted by teachers on an individual basis. As a means of identifying these students, data from the previous school year and i-Ready AP1 diagnostic data will be referenced. PLCs will center around analysis of this data and implementation plans to respond accordingly.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Team leaders will monitor their team's success and share this information with administration and case managers, support staff and the RTI Team. Collaborative decisions will plan for continued targeted support.

What elements will be addressed?

Available resources are allocated effectively

Why is it occuring?

Teachers are not well-versed on the range of intervention resources which are readily available. Often times, implementation of specific RTI strategies/resources are not utilized until teachers meet case managers.

What are we going to do about it?

We are going to ensure teachers are made aware of the range of available onsite resources and how to access them in a timely fashion.

Action Plan

To inform teachers of the resources available to meet the academic needs of students in the RTI process, a list of resources will be compiled and shared at a faculty meeting. In addition, case managers will reference/provide teachers a copy of the resource list when potential RTI students are identified. The list will be updated if and when resources change.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Case managers will monitor RTI documentation entered into BASIS and teacher data shared at RTI meetings. Additionally, RTI case managers will track the fidelity of support provided by checking the frequency and resource(s) utilized.
