What elements will be addressed?

A strategic plan for MTSS implementation is developed

Why is it occuring?

Class time needs to be used in a more effeicent way so each student can get the appropriate intervention in the same amount of time. CHROME is the best browser for BASIS and many of our computers did not have CHROME browser. Trainings were conducted in large groups and provided with a wide variety of other trainings. Too much information to learn at one time.

What are we going to do about it?

Implementation Plan
Staff requires practice and modeling of expectations for MTSS. Training will be addressed in small group sessions with staff. Staff have been given updated laptops which can access the BASIS program with greater ease. Teachers are assigned interventions and RTI students will go to teacher using appropriate intervention so every teacher will not have multiple interventions to administer.

Action Plan

1. Teacher training in small groups by grade level.

2. Laptops containing CHROME were issues to staff.

3. Staff are dividing up interventions and conducting them during the same time s teachers can assist each other by grade level and implement a partcicular intervention.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

RTI team will minitor BASIS entries. Entries will be retreived and meeting will be scheduled on Monday each week. Office hours for RTI assistance set up and put on team leaders calendars. Intervention data kept by the teachers to monitor progress of students and track frequency and durance on intervention. BASIS DATA will be used to track entries and progress. Grade levels will review and discuss during team meetings. BAS data from 9/2018 will be entered and tracked to ensure progress. Pinnacle grades will be used for area of intervention. I-Ready data will be used for progress monitoring and also planning. Beginning of the year grade level diagnostics to be used to place students in appropriate intervention groups.
