What elements will be addressed?

The leadership team facilitates PD on multi-tiered instruction and intervention

Why is it occuring?

This is occuring due to limitations for time to meet with teachers. We are still focused on professiona ldevelopment of Tier I instruction including small group in both reading and math. We are also focued on balanced literacy and math centers. We have begun to work on Tier II and Tier III interventions.

What are we going to do about it?

We will use collabroative planning time offered in teacher schedules as well as team meetings. In addition we will offer voluntary RtI intervention training two mornings a month during planning time.

Action Plan

  • Review PD records to see what PD was taken in reference to RtI and interventions and ensure teachers sign-up for district offered PD RtI, interventions, etc.
  • Needs assessment to see what RtI interventions is needed to be supplied by school.
  • Inventory what interventions are bring used in ELA, math, and Behavior and analysis of fidelity of implementation of current interventions are being used.
  • Inventory of intervention resources on campus to provide PD for available resources.
  • Schedule voluntary PD and schedule time with teams during team meetings.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Through walkthroughs we will monitor interventions where PD was implemented. We will look at RtI data and student growth and progress for interventions which school provided PD.
A review of PD records for PDs which were attended and follow-up was completed.
