What elements will be addressed?

Processes, procedures, and decision-rules are established for DBPS

Why is it occuring?

Addressing processes, procedures, and decision-rules established for Data-Based Problem Solving

Teachers are continuously using tier 1 academic/behavior interventions in the classrooms to support student learning. However, documentation continues to be a barrier.
Processes and procedures are established during pre-planning week, but there is a lack of fidelity throught the school year.

What are we going to do about it?

Consistent reminders about entering tier 1 interventions into Basis, by appropriate teachers need to done. Provide support an resources as needed.
Professional development of use of Basis, RTI Procedures and Interventions were revisited in November with staff.

Action Plan

Each quarter, school counselors will retrieve academic and behavior reports to determine what interventions have been put in place by teacher, and reach out to determine what support the teacher needs.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Compare each quarters grades to the next quarter. Track documentation of tier 1 strategies in Basis.

What elements will be addressed?

Tier 3 behavior practices are based on students' needs, aligned with Tier 1 and Tier 2

Why is it occuring?

Students with behavior concerns at the Tier 3 level are often continuously out of class due to disciplinary actions and poor attendance. Therefore, it is difficult to track data for said student in Tier 3 to have an aligned outcome.

What are we going to do about it?

With extra student support services now available at school, students in the Tier 3 level can now be monitored more regularly.

Action Plan

When a student moves into a Tier 3 for behavior, they will be assigned a student support service team member to monitor and track academic and behavioral data.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

We will monitor the success of our students by the number of disciplinary actions that said student receives.
