What elements will be addressed?

Coaching is used to support MTSS implementation

Why is it occuring?

Teachers and support staff need additional suport in understanding how to document interventions they implement.  They also need support in documenting  the effectiveness of those interventions.

What are we going to do about it?

Counselors and support staff will provide refresher training on documenting and monitoring intervention effectiveness as needed or requested based on RTI caseload.

Action Plan

Teacher were trained last school year on documenting and monitoring interventions.  A refresher training was provided during preplanning week.  Supporting documents were emailed out to staff for reference.  Curriculum leaders have been informed of the importance of documenting and monitoring interventions.  They have shared this information at monthly PLC meetings with their department.  Counselors have held one on one meetings to assist staff that still struggles with the documenting and monitoring process.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

By reviewing the RTI dashboard and montly meetings.
