Staff members are interested in receiving more support with MTSS/RtI

What are we going to do about it?

Trainings, posters, manuals, differentiating and clarifying academic and behavioral concerns, monthly tips based on usage stats

Action Plan

During trainings, staff concerns and questions will be answered about resources and differentiation of academic and behavioral concerns. Posters and handouts will be distributed via email and during PLC and professional development sessions, as well as posted in teacher planning areas

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Collaborative feedback, staff surveys via Naviance, pre/post assessment, monitor usage percentages for growth, teacher suggestion/question box

What elements will be addressed?

Staff have consensus and engage in MTSS Implementation

Why is it occuring?

Staff members are uncomfortable with using the MTSS/RtI system and need further training and information

What are we going to do about it?

Trainings, providing data and information to connect positive student outcomes in areas of academics, social/emtional learning and behavior through the use of the MTSS/RtI system, work through PLC sessions to train staff members about effective usage of MTSS/RtI

Action Plan

Trainings will be facilitated quarterly for the general staff, district personnell will come to train department chairs and new teachers, and PLC meetings will infuse information about MTSS/RtI within regular meetings by facilitators

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Monitor usage for increases in staff engagement each month, facilitate a pre/post assessment regarding staff knowledge of MTSS/RtI, facilitate a staff survey through Naviance regarding usage and knowledge.
