What elements will be addressed?

Effective data tools are used appropriately and independently by staff

Why is it occuring?

Faculty are having difficulty independently using the data tools; when they meet wiht the coaches, and the coaches guide them through the process, they get it.

What are we going to do about it?

The coaches are going to gradually release the use of data to the teachers.

Action Plan

  • The first month's meeting, coaches will demonstrate the collection and use of data for the teachers
  • The second meeting, the coaches will facilitate the collection and use of data with the teachers
  • By the third meeting, the teachers will be expected to come prepared to speak to the data (including the use of the data)
  • Coaches will support any teacher who may need additional support

How will we monitor and measure our success?

The number of teachers who are able to speak to their data and how they've acted on their data will increase.
