What elements will be addressed?

Resources for implementation of MTSS are addressed through data-based problem-solving

Why is it occuring?

Students have gaps in their learning and there is a need to provide targeted academic support. With targeted academic and/or social/emotional interventions our students will be closer to proficiency. 

What are we going to do about it?

We are providing coaching and training to teachers/support staff. We are also ensuring that interventions are aligned to individual student needs. 

Action Plan

1. Ensure correct identification of students of students in need of academic support and monitor interventions
2. Monitor individual student data bi-monthly
3. Allow time for teachers to meet and discuss their grade level's student concerns through common planning
4. Ongoing Staff Development and support

How will we monitor and measure our success?

1. Monitor data to see progress
2. Monthly peer classroom walk-throughs
3. Student achievement data

Data sources are used to evaluate the fidelity and impact

Why is it occuring?

Data is available however it is not being evaluated as suggested to drive planning and instructional decisions. 

What are we going to do about it?

Teachers will bring intervention data sources to CPST and monthly data chats to evaluate the elements of MTSS across academic, behavioral, and Social/Emotional areas. 

Action Plan

1. Schedule monthly meetings with CPST
2. Use diagnostic assessments to drive data within classrooms
3. Monitor progress through the use of data chats, BASIS, and CPST meetings
4. Celebrate success frequently with in-class and schoolwide incentives
 

How will we monitor and measure our success?

We will monitor through CPST meetings, Data Chats, and classroom walkthroughs.
