What elements will be addressed?

Resources to support MTSS implementation are identified and allocated

Why is it occuring?

A lot of the teachers did not understand the intervention programs and did not use them to fidelity. There were also concerns regarding fluidity of groups as well as progress monitoring assessments.

What are we going to do about it?

Teachers will have access to the updated MTSS Binder/Resource book, CCES Canvas course, and Curriculum Corners. In addition, we will be increasing data chats for the lowest 25th percentile. Intervention programs have been updated, reviewed, and revised.

Action Plan

  • Schedule in place for leadership team to make classroom observations of small group reading block
  • Administration to conduct quarterly data chats in addition to data chats for the lowest quartile
  • Provide professional development on intervention programs
  • Progress monitoring data from Tier 2/3 interventions to determine whether changes in intervention need to be made
  • Scheduled schoolwide intervention time in all classrooms

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Progress monitoring through:

  • data chats
  • team meetings
  • BASIS checks

Support staff members have been assigned a grade level to monitor. A schoolwide intervention time has been established wherein support staff team members progress monitor between 8:15 and 8:45. In addition, blue folders to track student achievement have been prepared. are collected weekly.

Action Plan

Classroom walk throughs, data chats, informal and formal observations, progress monitoring of blue folders, and conversations with teachers.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Weekly monitoring of the blue folders, monthly classroom walk throughs, quarterly data chats, test scores.
