The infrastructure exists to support family and community engagement

Why is it occuring?

Staff do not have a full understanding of the need to apply MTSS to fidelity.
Staff need to have more opportunities to share best practices for interventions that work well. 
Staff should be prepared with data and supporting information for Rti meetings
 

What are we going to do about it?

We will provide a PLC on Rti data collection for all teachers.
Teachers will discuss data and RTI process during Parent-Teacher conferences.
 

Action Plan

We will provide a RTI checklist of items to be discussed in Parent-Teacher conferences.
We will review BASIS data entry with each teacher.
We will schedule follow up training for teachers in need of additional training throughout the year.
 

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Increased Number of Completed Rti cases for students in need of further evaluation.
Increased performance in academics and behavior.
Completed BASIS database submissions.

Data are used to identify reasons why students are not meeting expectations

Why is it occuring?

Teachers do not have a full understanding of the need to apply MTSS to fidelity.
Teachers need to have more opportunities to share best practices for interventions that work well. 
Teachers should be prepared with data and supporting information for Rti meetings

What are we going to do about it?

We will provide more orrportunities to share best practice for collecting and analyzing student data.
Administration will review student data with the teachers monthly and after all schoolwide assessments.
Provide a list of interventions used for students performing in the lowest 30th percentile.
 

Action Plan

Data-based problem solving occurs across all of the following, across all content areas, all grade levels and all tiers using academic, behavior and social-emotional data
Instructional/intervention plans consistently are developed based on verified reasons students are not meeting expectations.
Provide data that informs instruction and intervention design and delivery that reflects student diversity and results in learning opportunities for all students
 

How will we monitor and measure our success?

We will monitotr data binders/informations monthly to insure needy students are getting the interventions or services needed. 
Administration will compare student data to BASIS referral and RTI results.
Completed RTI process for students needing further educational testing.
