Why is it occuring?

Educators are not actively engaging families in MTSS. 

What are we going to do about it?

Educators will engage parents in the Collaborative Problem Solving process. 

Action Plan

  • Provide educators with appropriate notice of upcoming RtI meetings 
  • Share what MTSS is and the role of the family during SAC meetings/PLCs
  •  Contact parents and give them the option to attend meetings
  • Inform families of any change in Tiers/support

How will we monitor and measure our success?

  • Measure our success by Self-Assessment of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (SAM)
  • Parent survey

Staff is not consistently using effective data tools appropriately and independently.  

What are we going to do about it?

The staff will consistently use effective data tools appropriately and independently. 

 

Action Plan

  • Review designed intervention
  • The RtI Contact and Literacy Coach will meet with teams during PLCs to discuss and reiterate the importance of effectively and consistently collecting data
  • Monitor the implementation and effective use of data tools

How will we monitor and measure our success?

  • Measure our success by Self-Assessment of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (SAM) domain average increase
  • BASIS 3.0 records review
  • Bi-montlhy submission of complete and accurate observations and/or graphs reflecting the designed interventions
