What elements will be addressed?

Educators actively engage families in MTSS

Why is it occuring?

Quest Families come from a large geographic area and many live far from the school. Students who attend our school are challenging and it is often difficult to find child care.

What are we going to do about it?

The leadership has already surveyed parents to determine the times that are more convenient for parents to attend meetings. We will provide meeting options at these convenient times including child care.

Action Plan

  • Surveyed parents at Open House and during parent-teacher conferences
  • Scheduled 2 SAC/SAF meetings per month - one meeting during the school day, one at night
  • Combine results of meetings
  • SAC Chair/Co-chair and Intern Principal attends both meetings to provide continuity between the meetings.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

  • Track attendance at SAC/SAF meetings
  • Measure results of SAM for 17-18

Teams will participate in Student Progression Chats in November, January and April to present their findings to administration and instructional coaches.

Action Plan

  • Teams analyze data for trends
  • Team implement interventions
  • Teams present results at Student Progression Chats

How will we monitor and measure our success?
