What elements will be addressed?

Schedules provide adequate time for multiple tiers of instruction/interventions

Why is it occuring?

The current  schedule does allow adequate time for  academic, behavior and social emotional assessments, implementation of multitiered interventions matched to
student needs by content area and intensity (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3). The schedule only provides time for Tier 1 and when need Tier 3.  The schedule does not provide adqueate time for Tier 2 interventions. 

What are we going to do about it?

Incorporate the MTSS problem solving process into our PLC's so that teachers become more aware ot the PLC. Then the implmentation of Tier II interventions can increase as teachers analyze the data and become more familiar with the process. 

Action Plan

Provide training to all PLC Faciliators on the MTSS Process.  Request that the information is shared with PLC's. Then provide school wide training on the MTSS process and implmentation of Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 strategies. 

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Tier 2 Interventions data entry will increase in Basis by  5%.

Staff have consensus and engage in MTSS Implementation

Why is it occuring?

As a result in staff turn over, not all staff are currently trained on the MTSS/RTI process and use of basis. 

What are we going to do about it?

Provide school wide trainging on MTS/RTI and basis. 

Action Plan

Teachers will be trained on MTSS/RTI and Basis. 

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Teacher interventions in BASIS will increase by 5%.
