Why is it occuring?

Leadership Team is not consistently engaging District, family, and community partners to identify stakeholder needs, resources for and barriers to MTSS implementation.

What are we going to do about it?

Leadership team will identify key school personnel to consistently engage all stakeholders through schools newsletter, parent and teacher conferences, and family nights.

Action Plan

  • Have RTI brochure during family nights.
  • Have RTI section in schools newsletter
  • Have In-house RTI calendar
  • Include RTI information in the Parent resource center.

Building the Capacity/Infrastructure for Implementation

What elements will be addressed?

Schedules provide adequate time for data-based problem-solving

Why is it occuring?

Staff required more time and training to build capacity for data collection and best practices for RTI.

What are we going to do about it?

Develop a master schedule to incorporate the collaborative planning twice a month, RTI once a week and collaborative hour every 6-7 days to review best practices, data collection and data analysis.
