What elements will be addressed?

Tier 1 behavior practices identify school-wide expectations

Why is it occuring?

Teachers need increased access to resources that support the implementation of both Tier 1 and Tier 2 behavior strategies to support students Social Emotional Learning.

What are we going to do about it?

Teachers will receive training and access to various programs that support Tier 2 behavior interventions as well as support Tier 1 Social Emotional Learning.  These programs include LEAPS, Be the One, Mindfulness and Start wih Hello and SEL Harmony Lesson Kits.

Action Plan

  • Teachers will be given access to LEAPs and Be The 1.
  • Guidance will train  share SEL Harmony kits with each grade level with the assitance of team leaders.
  • Start With Hello acitivities implemented throughout the entire school
  • Team leaders will be trained and share with there teams usage of PBIS.org
  • Teachers will be trained in the Mindfulnesss program to support SEL.
  • The RTI team will continue to meet with the teachers to discuss monthly the academic and behavioral goals for the students to be successful and to be able to perform at a proficient level in the classroom.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Data from the behavior dashboartd will be collected to determine if there has been a reduction  Data is  alos collected at each RTI meeting andnotes are kept to keep record of each childs individual needs and progress towards behvavioral goals

What elements will be addressed?

Effective data tools are used appropriately and independently by staff

Why is it occuring?

Teachers are in need of support in accessing data and utilizing BASIS to determine student progress.

What are we going to do about it?

Teachers will meet will case managers to understand how to properly utilize BASIS to analyze students data and to insure teachers are aware of how to maintain progress monitoring data for MTSS.  In addition students will be discussed in data chats and when necessary discuss them with the RTI team for additional support and interventions.

Action Plan

  • Teachers will continue to analyze the data and intervene in the classroom as much as necessary through specialized group interventions.
  • Teachers will participate in data chats and PLC's to focus on utilizing data to meet student needs.
  • Support will be assigned to students based the use assessment data.
  • Case managers will communicate will teachers to insure that data is properly maintained to allow for the correct implementation of the RtI process. 

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Teachers will monitor the success through the use of assessment data to determine student's progress and ensure that the students are progressing along the way through those interventions.
