Provide Q&A sessions for teachers

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Staff's ability to identify students needing support and effectively document concerns with parents and case manager, and uploading evidence by way of graphs and student work samples.

Educators actively engage families in MTSS

Why is it occuring?

Parent contact information not accurate
Parents not understanding the educational terminology
Not identifying students early enough and using Interims as well as Conference forms to document studnts' strengths and struggles.

What are we going to do about it?

Utilize the School Social Worker to make home visits, continue to try to reach parents by phone or notices.
Use parent-friendly language, show graphs of students progress in relation to where they should be, present student work samples to parents.
Document sstudents' strengths and struggles on Interims and Conference forms

Action Plan

Use a chool-wide conference checklist to be sure parents are made aware of their child's academic and behavior progress.
Make parents aware of the importance of keeping contact information up-to-dateHave an Intermediate and a Primary Data Invite parents to an Intermediate and/or Primary Data Night

How will we monitor and measure our success?

By the percentage of parents participating in attendance or by way of phone at RtI meetings.
