What elements will be addressed?

The leadership team facilitates PD on multi-tiered instruction and intervention

Why is it occuring?

Currently, all staff receive the same in-school professional development.

What are we going to do about it?

From walkthrough data we will devise a plan for tiered professional development.  Also, a needs assessment will be given at team meetings to determine the levels of support needed for each teacher.

Action Plan

First, we will conduct a needs assessment to determine the level of support teachers feel they need.  Next, administrators and support team members will conduct walkthroughs and analyze walkthrough data to further determine appropriate professional development activities and topics for teachers.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Walkthroughs will be conducted weekly and will be the tool used to monitor the effectiveness of related professional development.

Data sources are used to evaluate the fidelity and impact

Why is it occuring?

Data sources are being used, but are most used by administration and support coaches.  Teachers rely heavily on instuctional coaches and are not accessing and using the tools as they could be.

What are we going to do about it?

For teachers to effectively use data to evaluate fidelty, they must first be trained and supported throughout the process.

Action Plan

Support team members must first become familiar with all data tools.  At data chats, support members will compare assessment data with instuctional practice walkthrough data.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Assessment and walkthrough data will be analyzed biweekly to measure success.
