Why is it occuring?

Staff needs continual training and support on how to implement MTSS tiers with fidelity.

What are we going to do about it?

Teams are assigned MTSS case managers from school based team that will follow up with each grade level monthly to review interventions being implemented.

Action Plan

1, Case Managers meet with teams and set goals and procedures for support.
2. MTSS team administers a needs assessment to staff to find out what they need. We would then Plan to support staff in the areas that theyu need the most assistance.

Teachers are having difficulty correlating between the diagnostic assessments and the design of the intervention.

What are we going to do about it?

On-going support by case managers.

Action Plan

1. Professional Development focused on diagnostics in relation to intervention.
2. Case Manager model to be implemented.
MTSS Team will offer guidance and assistance during MTSS mtgs.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Correlation on BASIS between Tier 1 strategies and Tier 2 interventions.
