What elements will be addressed?

Processes, procedures, and decision-rules are established for DBPS

Why is it occuring?

Teacher may need to feel more support in the processes, procedures, and decision-rule in order to value this process.

What are we going to do about it?

The CPS Team is going to provide more support to teachers through short-talks and coaching.

Action Plan

Our School Counseling Team will support teachers during there planning twice a month.  The team will assist with entering Tier-1 Strategies into BASIS and well as identifiying resources to support the strategies used.  Teachers will visit school counselors to collaborate on issues with various students who may be academically low performing or exhibiting extreme negative behavior.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

We will measure our success based on the number of teachers that meet for support.  If midway, the numbers of the teachers is low the team will do individual visits.

Across tiers, data used to identify "gap" between expected and current outcomes

Why is it occuring?

Teachers may be using wrong data to determine gap of expected outcomes.  This data must be documented as well as analyzed in order to determine how well the student is performing or how far behind they may be.

What are we going to do about it?

Evaluation system put in place to identify gaps.

Action Plan

Each month students will take assessements in ELA and Math.  Scores will be analyzed by classroom teachers then by instructional coach and department chair for comparison per grade level.  Instructional coach and department chair will identify students that fall below grade level norm of expected outcome.







 

How will we monitor and measure our success?

FAIR and I-Ready will be the instruments used to monitor and measure our success monthly.
