What elements will be addressed?

Tier 3 behavior practices are based on students' needs, aligned with Tier 1 and Tier 2

Why is it occuring?

Teachers and staff are unfamiliar with the school wide behavior plan. A high percentage of change in personel has affected the implamentation of the school wide behavior plan with fidelity.

What are we going to do about it?

In addition to academic concerns, focus on behavior concerns in RtI.

Action Plan

  • Provide Professional Development to all teachers on the topics of behavior management and social emotional learning.
  • Behavior Assemblies will be held by leadership team.
  • Collaborative Problem Solving Team will provide strategies and sample behavior charts to collect data.
  • Quarterly review of behavior plan with students and staff.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

  • Number of quarterly referrals will decrease by 10%.
  • Data from the Discipline Management System (DMS) will show a decrease in behavior infractions.
