Why is it occuring?

The leadership team recognizes staff have not been given proper professional development and coaching. The leadership team has not facilitated PD on data-based problem-solving. The leadership team has not facilitated PD on multi-tiered instruction and intervention. Schedules do not allow for adequate time of training and coaching. 

What are we going to do about it?

The leadership team will afford opportunities to staff on proper professional development and coaching. The leadership will facilitate PD on data-based problem-solving. The leadership team will facilitate PD on multi-tiered instruction and intervention. Schedules will be constructed to allow for adequate time of training and coaching. 

Action Plan

Schedule professional development on both BASIS input.
Schedule professional development to focus on coaching of tiered interventions. 

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Increase use of RtI referral submission.
Decrease in yellow, red, and blue flagged students on BASIS.

Why is it occuring?

The leadership team believes staff do not have a strong understanding nor access to data sources. Decision-making policies and procedures have not been established. Effective data tools are not being used appropriately and independently by staff. Data sources are not being used to evaluate fidelity and impact. Lastly, Data sources are not monitored for consistency and accuracy. 

What are we going to do about it?

The leadership team will train staff through PD to ensure a strong understanding and access to data sources. MTSS decision-making policies and procedures will be established. Effective data tools will used appropriately and independently by staff to drive classroom instruction. Data sources will be used to evaluate fidelity and impact. Lastly, Data sources will be monitored for consistency and accuracy by the leadership team. 

Action Plan

Provide PD to staff during instructional planning time. 
Provide ongoing lists of data-driven resources for tiered classroom interventions.

Staff feedback
Decrease in color coded cohort information.
